The miner said the execution of the Selous Base Metal Refinery refurbishment was deferred during the period under review while further phases of the 185-megawatt solar project have also been postponed.
Overall, Zimplats’ capital expenditure increased by 47 percent to US$194 million during the half year period compared to US$132 million recorded in the comparable period.
Zimplats cuts costs
